Not Your Grandma's Butterbeer Recipe

Butterbeer is arguably the most popular drink in the wizarding world. Butterbeer can be both an alcoholic and a non-alcoholic drink. The version we share is here is non-alcoholic, hence the title, “NOT Your Grandma’s Butterbeer Recipe.” Some wizards sweeten their butterbeer with sugar shrub, mallowsweet, and/or Moondew. Two well-known butterbeer brands are Butterbeer 1707 and Madam Rosmerta's brew (an extra sweet variant of butterbeer.) In the Harry Potter books, Luna Lovegood sometimes wore a necklace of butterbeer corks. Popular brands and variations of butterbeer in the muggle world are Flying Cauldron Butterscotch Beer, produced by Reeds, Inc. and Butterbeer Frappuccino, produced by Starbucks, Inc.

The ingredients:
1/4 to 1/3 Cup Torani Butterscotch Italian Syrup
(Amazon.com)
One Liter Cream soda
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Butterscotch Ice Cream Topping
1/4 Cup Powdered Sugar

Okay! Here are photos of the ingredients you will need: Torani Butterscotch Italian Syrup (1/4 to 1/3 Cup.) If you can't get it at your local market, it is available on Amazon.com.

Cream Soda (One Liter)

Heavy whipping cream (1 Cup)

Butterscotch ice cream topping (1/4 Cup)

Powdered Sugar (1/4 Cup)
Now let's make some butterbeer! First, pour 1/4 to 1/3 cup Torani butterscotch syrup into the one-liter bottle of cream soda. A funnel is a good idea here
Next whip 1 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup powdered sugar and 1/4 cup butterscotch ice cream topping. Make sure NOT to whip it too thick. It should be thin like foam and be pourable and not stiff like regular whipped cream.
Pour some of the soda mixture in a a glass and top it with the butterscotch whipped cream and **poof!** You have butterbeer.
